Supported by approachable leadership and transparent communication, we're empowered to make an impact on local government and the residents they serve. What You’ll Drive
You’ll lead a high-volume web implementation team with a focus on predictable delivery, strong quality standards, and a consistent client experience. You’ll improve how work flows through the team, tighten handoffs between design and front-end development, and raise the baseline for accessibility and readiness.
What You’ll Do
Lead People
You’ll lead a high-volume web implementation team with a focus on predictable delivery, strong quality standards, and a consistent client experience. You’ll improve how work flows through the team, tighten handoffs between design and front-end development, and raise the baseline for accessibility and readiness.
What You’ll Do
Lead People
- Manage and coach a team of designers and front-end developers day to day
- Set clear expectations for quality, speed, and professional growth
- Run 1:1s, support performance reviews, and handle the direct conversations when work isn’t meeting the bar
- Monitor workload and staffing coverage, coordinating handoffs and coverage during absences
Own Delivery Process and Quality
- Build and refine repeatable workflows for website implementation (intake, prioritization, design production, QA, and delivery)
- Define and enforce quality standards for accessibility, consistency, and client readiness
- Identify bottlenecks and drive practical improvements (templates, checklists, review points, etc)
- Partner with Project/Implementation Management to keep timelines credible and communication clean
Bridge Design and Front-End Development
- Work closely with front-end developers to improve handoffs and reduce back-and-forth
- Ensure designs are implementation-ready by aligning on constraints, patterns, and reusable approaches
- Help the team communicate tradeoffs clearly to internal partners and, when needed, clients
Contribute as a Designer and/or Front End Developer (Selective)
- Own or support select implementations in your strength area (design, dev, or hybrid), typically higher-visibility or higher-complexity projects
- For design contributions: produce implementation-ready page layouts and patterns in Figma and ensure accessibility considerations are built into the design
- For front-end contributions: support targeted build work like template/component tweaks, HTML/CSS adjustments, QA fixes, and implementation troubleshooting in partnership with the dev team
- Document patterns and decisions so the team can reuse what works and reduce repeat work
What This Role Is Not
- Not a front-end developer role
- Not a creative director or brand campaign role
- Not a role that owns the long-term product roadmap
